Easter Bonnet Hello! I hope you all had a Happy Easter weekend. So... this set is a little late for the actual holiday, but I was inspired by the thought of my twin nephews foraging through my parents yard in search of the easter eggs that they hid from each other! What fun. I wish I could have been there for the grand hunt. Each bead is as unique as those cute nephew are (fraternal twins... they look *nothing* alike). |

The Secret Garden One of my favorite musicals is The Secret Garden. Do you know it? The set evolved slowly, and I am so pleased with the results! I started with the round tabs using a beautiful frit over Lavendar glass. I almost made a whole set of them, but I decided to try "hiding" a core of that under some crystal clear glass and decoration. The picture doesn't convey the full depth of the beads, but the colors are true! |

Tarragon Tiles Now these are not colors that I have played with much, but what a great fresh spring-time feel! I wanted to make a set that was smaller in size than some of my beads with a bracelet in mind. Some of my friends at work were enchanted with this set, and I hope you will be too (Hi, Andrea!!). |

Hot Off the Presses So.... I went a little crazy and bought myself some new presses. I *love* the various shapes! So, I made one string that had one of each of my new shapes! (Well, the lentil shape isn't new, but I thought it added a nice touch to the strand.) I just love these colors! Muted Uranium Yellow (no actual uranium!) and cobalt blue, in both transparent and opaque, give these beads nice depth. Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Twisted Peacock I'm having so much fun playing with my new presses! This is a color combination that I have seen a lot of it, but I'm working on putting my own "twist" on it. The pink really *pops* on these! Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

June Meadows June Meadows may sound like a sitcom star, but when I created these beads, I just couldn't get the idea of meadows out of my mind! Beautiful "flowers" on a sky blue background have me just itching for spring (we will ignore the forcast for additional SNOW tonight). I am enjoying my new presses so much, so I'm afraid you will be seeing more shapes in the weeks to come! Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Kicked Up Pink Well, once I started with the pink this week, I didn't want to stop. This is a pair that I decorated with a type of decoration that turns mettalic when you treat it a certain way. I loved the contrast with the pink and the metallic, and the name just popped into my head! This would make a cool pair of earrings. Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Clouds of Neptune Good evening... I discovered this combination while playing at the torch one day with the *very last* of a particular base color that I had. I loved the results and saved that bead until I could get more of that base color. Ta dah! Here they are. The particular colors get worked long and slow to get this particular effect that I find ethereal and earthy. Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Disco Balls Well, this is out of the box for me!! The name for these popped into my head the moment these came out of the kiln. What's really interesting is that the base colors of the beads are all shades of green, and the sparkles on top are the same glass. It's fascinating how it looks totally different on the different shades, and I hardly think you can tell that some of them are green (except the small ones). These would make for some fun earrings. Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Rose Tendrils Sweet spring roses peeking at you from a carpet of lovely "flowers"... ah, how I wish it were springtime. I was so happy with the colors... the soft pink background with the muted tones and the brighter but still sweet pink of the roses. I have to confess that I had a particular jewelry maker in mind when I created these, but I think they are versatile enough to go with many styles. Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Southwest Spurs Howdy! These are way to purdy to attach to your boots and stick into a horses sides. Wouldn't jewelry be so much nicer? *lol* Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Light Bright The set took me quite a bit of time... I was working with primary colors quite a bit, and a vision for a set just popped into my head. I became obsessed with how it would look when done. Just ask my boyfriend, who had to look at these beads about 20 times over the three weeks I worked on it! I used four "primary" colors... 3 of the beads have same core color, and 3 of the beads have the same dot color, but no bead is identical! I love the look of the heavily-encased cores with the dots just floating over them. It gives the beads such depth and dimension. Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Flower Power I'm addicted to making these sweet little flowers! In this set, I chose to use them with retro colors and in a retro style. I think these would make a smashing bracelet! The lentils are really smooth against skin. My picture shows both sides, so you can see that they are "reversible." Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

5/18/05: Up again this week with spacers added! Cool creamy ivory, and deep classic navy in variety of patterns of dots. This would go well with so many spring fashions... both more formal and more casual. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them. Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Rhapsody in Blue A sweet set in blues. I wanted to try an all-blue set after being inspired by some other folks work. Using different techniques for each bead, I worked to develop a harmonious blend. I like the results and hope you do too! Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Eyes on Spring I don't know how you're feeling where you live, but here in the snowy Northeast, we're getting a little house-bound! We got 5 inches last week, and another storm is coming. There was someone on the news actually interviewing people to see if they had "snow fatigue"! Duh!! So, how does a lampworker combat snow fatigue? Bright spring colors!! Here's a nice pair for you. Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Japanese Blossoms I was playing with some new frit that I got, and I felt inspired to try to make some tiny blossoms on a more textured background. I think I actuall *gasped* when these came out of the kiln. Tiny, rich blossoms scattered all over these lentils evoked a feeling of peaceful springtime for me! You can bet I will be making another set for myself! Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Primarily Squiggles Another set of lentils... this one was done with a batch of rainbow colors make into encased stringer and applied to a white base. Making these made me think about coloring as a kid, and how I always gravitated to the really bright colors in the crayon box. Of course, I wasn't too much for staying inside the lines in those days! Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Sugar Plum Fairy I was playing with some frit (I did that a lot this week!) and came across this fantastic color combination. I love the bright and soft purple tones on the sky blue. It gives the set an ethereal quality that I keep coming back to stare at. I'm also starting to try new shapes, because I love the variety they add to sets. Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |

Southwestern Swirl Hello! I wanted to try out a new color combination that's a bit different for me, so I made this darling pair of beads using light brown and some encased turquoise. The colors are a bit toward the southwestern. These would make some nice larger earrlings, but I think they would look nicest in a necklace with other southwestern colors (of course, I *am* biased toward necklaces!) Enjoy, and don't forget to check my other auctions! |
